Lay Diplomacy, by Leo Suprenant

Leon J. Suprenant is the president of Catholics United for the Faith (CUF) [http://www.cuf.org/ ] and Emmaus Road Publishing, and publisher of Lay Witness—an award-winning magazine for lay Catholics. Leon’s book credits include the best selling Catholic for a Reason series (co-edited with Scott Hahn), FAITH FACTS: Answers to Catholic Questions (volumes one and two, with Philip Gray), Servants of the Gospel (general editor), and Shaken by Scandals (contributing author). Leon’s articles have appeared in many national and diocesan publications, including New Covenant, This Rock, Religious Life, The Wanderer, and New Oxford Review.

He is a frequent columnist for National Catholic Register and Catholic Exchange (www.catholicexchange.com), and an adviser to the Institute on Religious Life and Catholic Scripture Study. Leon has appeared on several television and radio programs including MSNBC, CBS’ “The Early Show,” Relevant Radio, “Catholic Answers Live,” EWTN’s “Mother Angelica Live,” and “Journey Home.” Leon received his master’s in theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, a law degree with distinction from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, and also has degrees in philosophy and English.
